Same Drivers, new car, in 1972 Alcide Paganelli and Domenico (Nini) Russo came back to Portugal with a new, highly transformed Gr.5 Fiat 124 Spider equipped with a 1.750 Cm3 engine, they finished an excellent 5th place and 2nd in Group after the astonishing SM Proto Maserati of Bjorn Waldegard.
Another new model.

At last in Gr. 4, after homologation of the 1.750 Cm3, Alcide Paganelli and Domenico "Nini" Russo are back in 1973 to shine, unfortunately on the 26th SS the head gasket blew and it was Luís Netto and Manuel Coentro on the 1971 1.6 124 Spider that honoured the brand with a 4th place overall.

A 4 door Datsun Sunny 1200, driven by Jorge Ortigão and Duarte Miguel on the 1973 Portugal Rally, their first rally after the Promotion Championship, an excellent 15th place, 5th Group 1 and 3rd Class 1.

Ford Escort MKI TC 1600 – RP 1972 – Bean / Greenwood
The Escort MKI TC 1600 Withers of Winsford used by Robert Bean and David Greenwood to a DNF on the1972 Portugal Rally.

Ford Escort MKII RS 1800 – RP 1980 – Marques / Nobre
A former Ford Motorsport RS 1800 arrived unrevised in Portugal just before the 1980 event, the result was expectable, engine failure for Colaço Marques and José Nobre.

Fiat 124 Spider Abarth – RP 1974 – Paganelli / Russo
1974, brought back Alcide Paganelli and Domenico “Nini” Russo for an excellent 2nd place scratch on the Portugal Rally, immediately after their Fiat fellow competitors Rafaelle Pinto and Arnaldo Bernacchini.

Fiat 124 Spider Abarth 16 V – RP 1975 – Paganelli / Russo
Alcide Paganelli came back to the Portuguese Rally one last time in 1975, always with Domenico “Nini” Russo, but now with a fantastic 124 Spider Abarth 16 V, but on the first of five victories by their younger team mates Markku Alen and Ilka Kivimaki the team failed to finish the event.

Other than the 2000 Proto and 1600 SSS, Entreposto (Datsun Portugal) in 1970 has also inscribed two four door Datsun Sunny 1200, one of them for José Silva Loureiro and Pedro Cortês, one excellent 19tht Place scratch, 3rd in Group 1 and 1st in Class 3, a result which deserves mention.

With work on finishing my first catalogue of Projecto Rallye 43, which You can check out here: http://www.modelrally43.org/viewtop...f=718&t=1347 (7 download files) i forgot to post this last of the series, the Sunny 1200 which António Ferreira da Cunha and Carlos Resende drove to 14th place, 4th in Group 1 an 2nd in Class 1 on the 1973 Portuguese Rally.
