| When the folks at Dearborn committed Ford to international sportscar competition, they were determined to crush the conquering Ferraris. The Ford Motor Company succeeded with the incomparable GT40 racing cars; its triumphs included 4 consecutive victories at Le Mans! The rest was never history for these victories have greatly contributed to Ford's rich racing heritage, and to the sales of Ford cars in Europe and the world over. It took guts, men with vision and iron clad will power...
Exoto's decadent, super grand 1:10 Ford GT40 Mk II replica walked away with 2003 Model of The Year honors, and for good reason! At approximately 17" long, the new 1966 Ford GT40 Mk II commands attention and stimulates the senses! Features include:
* Functional door handles, body latches and pedals, * Removable wheels with metal spinners, * Machined steel disc brakes, * Functional, locking fuel filler cap, * Seats and seat belts that have to be seen to be believed, * Adjustable rear spoiler, * Glass covered gauges and working toggle switches on the dashboard, * And so much more...

| Ford was mighty proud of their 1966 Le Mans win, but the management in Detroit could not resist proving that this was no flash in the pan. Ford was out for a repeat success in the most grueling endurance race in the world: the 24 Hours of Le Mans! The American duo of A.J. Foyt and Dan Gurney were just the men for the job and provided the driving talent that secured the all-American victory! The sleek and brutal Ford GT40 Mk IV is a necessary addition to any collection!
We at Exoto are especially proud of this upcoming release. The details are beyond description as is the historical significance of the remarkable 1967 Ford GT40 Mk IV! Ford blew away the competition in 1967, and Exoto repeats history by blowing away the competition with this soon-to-be-released replica! Getting down close and examining this 17-inch long marvel is like surveying the real thing. |
